The only benefit of this way is so code based can be updated, but since it lacks two way communication between users they could of just done patch downloads from a website. Usually games require servers and stuff for multiplayer and it’s needed, but this just is used to maintain control and access, I can’t use a power save pro to fight other people. The data isn’t that extensive, there’s no leaderboards, it used to just fit on a cartridge. It’s not exactly a game it’s just access to a database. Now it’s like some weird server based thing. True, but this is a bit different though it’s just software which used to be built in.

Update 2: it does say support, sorry just noticed but if they’re not supporting it, there’s a chance it’s down until then, so don’t panic, panic after the 4th if it still doesn’t work. Won’t be back online until 4th January 2021. I’m starting to think their servers are down ? and it won’t connect perhaps? Anyone else having this issue ? or know a fix ? It’s just decided to go tits up for some reason, which is really annoying as I need marshshadow. I have left it through my firewall and also reinstalled it checked my key, my log in. I’ve not updated anything or changed anything. It worked fine until today and connected to all my other 3DS Pokémon games, until today were it just throws up that error no matter what cartridge I try. Got Pokémon Moon for Christmas and I plugged it into my power saves 3DS Pro, and I get the error “Web connection Error ? UPDATE: AS OF 30th DECEMBER 2020 - THE POWER SAVES PRO 3DS SERVERS ARE BACK UP!
